New Years Eve is a perfect time to dine with your loved ones and strengthen family ties and reconnect with your kids. And. nothing tops delicious homemade meal for such a party. Additionally, you should consider preparing the food with your family to teach the younglings about teamwork, problem-solving, scheduling, and organizing. Bring out your old card or table games, such as Monopoly, UNO, or Bingo. You could even pull out your modern consoles, such as the Switch, to play with the kids. Adding competitiveness into such a celebration not only livens up family bonding but also provides some extra flares and festivity. You can spice up the game night further by giving humorous prizes to both winners and losers.

So gather your family around the table and jolt down the things you wish to do or change in the upcoming year. Try to make both individual and family resolutions.  Additionally, this can be a revealing moment for you and your family as you all begin to understand what each other desires to become or change. It's also a great way to get the kids pumped for the coming year.

Nobody really likes watching movies without any snacks or beverages, so don't forget the popcorn and Dr. Pepper.

A big part of New Years Eve is the fireworks and sparklers displays. However, your young ones probably can't stay up till midnight to watch the fireworks displays. And let's not kid ourselves, everyone enjoys playing with sparklers. So gather all the family members and join in with the children.

And to amp things up further, you can even hold a dance-off to find who can boogie the best.

A photo booth is a must-have for New Year's Eve celebration. While hiring a professional photographer to take amazing photos of your family would be great, it is not mandatory because nowadays, everybody has a camera phone that can take good pictures. However, without a photo booth, the pictures could be bland and unappealing.

Choose a space in your house to serve as the photo booth backdrop, and decorate it. You can just use inexpensive, colorful paper to decorate the backdrop instead of using highly expensive materials. And, children love props, which you can easily make with colored cardboard, glitter, and other materials.
